VP, Business Development


Our client provides advisory services, leadership and frontline resources in Medical Management (Utilization Management, Case Management, etc.), Quality, Compliance, and Accreditation for health plans and other risk-bearing organizations nationwide. Our client consists of over 350 subject matter experts, experienced managed care clinicians and non-clinical support staff who are deployed on short- and long-term projects as needed by their clients. They support medical and behavioral health management and have been a trusted advisor delivering customized solutions since 2008.


Overview: We are seeking a seasoned sales executive with experience in consultative selling, preferably to health plans or other risk bearing entities.


  • Trusted advisor to senior level executives
  • Relationship builder
  • Ability to uncover needs and develop solutions that match company capabilities
  • General understanding of medical management, population health, quality and accreditation concepts
  • General understanding of health plan lines of business – Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Commercial, Dual-eligibles, etc. 
  • Ability to nurture long term deals as well as quickly close immediate need opportunities
  • Comfort with adding and maintaining deal flow records through sales stages in CRM (HubSpot)  


Expected Outcomes


  • Personally source deals from pool of target accounts
  • Develop and maintain robust pipeline
  • Leverage organizational expertise to close deals 
  • Develop buyer and influencer contacts and relationships
